One of the biggest events of the year is almost here! Our annual Women’s Health Charity Auction will be held August 25 at 6:00 p.m. There will be quilts, baskets, and other desirable items valued at $50 and up. We’ve had many wonderful choices in the past! A preview of the auction items will be at 5:30, with the auction starting promptly at 6:00. Auctioneer Tim Busby has once again donated his services, so the auction promises to be fun! Our selected charities this year will be the American Heart Association, Breast Cancer Research, and the Alzheimer’s Association. Our Guild has a proud history of generosity, so please plan on attending, bidding, and generally having a good time!
Other fun events happening at this meeting are:
- Mall in the Hall, a quilters’-dream garage sale (opens at 5:00 p.m.)
- Gift Shop, featuring finished items suitable for gifting (opens at 5 p.m.)
- Coffee & Treat Shop, your place to sit & visit with friends and wait for the fun to begin (open between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.)
Donations Make this Event Happen!
