Rebecca Loew,
January 25 Marbling Fabric
Learn the historic and beautiful process of marbling in this one day workshop. You will create a collection of beautifully patterned fabric created by floating color and manipulating it to create swirling designs and organic patterns.
Rebecca Loew,
January 26 Boro & Sashiko
In this class students may choose to mend or embellish a garment, or construct a small pouch using “Boro” traditional techniques including sashiko stitching and kogin threadbare weaving which will be taught in class.

Ilene Bartos,
March 1 Cracked Boxes
Cracked Boxes is a small (12.5” x 19.5”) project that can be easily accomplished. It is constructed with traditional piecing that is trimmed with freezer paper templates. It features boxes that are ‘cracked’ so that colored inserts can be added. Some of the lines are angled for a fun contemporary look.

Merrie Ford,
March 29 Collage Techniques
Have you admired Laura Heine’s amazing Collage Patterns, but don’t know where to begin? Join us for “Collage Techniques” where we will talk about fabric selection, color and value, the correct supplies for success and personalizing your piece.

Jacquie Gering and
April 26 Creative Quilting With the Walking Foot
Want to quilt your quilts on your home machine and maybe free motion quilting isn’t for you? Come discover the joy and creative possibilities of quilting with your walking foot. Straight-line quilting has a long history and is making a comeback in both modern and traditional quilts. Learn tips and tricks for successful quilting with your walking foot along with creative quilting designs that can be accomplished on your home machine. I highly recommend that students purchase the WALK book for this class.

Krista Moser,
Tues, June 27 Ombre Blossoms:
Stunning and dramatic!
Want to take your piecing game to the next level? This quilt combines strip-piecing with a few well-placed Y seams (not scary!) to get the most dramatic effect. This class will inspire confidence and equip you with new techniques.

Krista Moser,
Wed, June 28 Semaphore Stripes: Made with 2½” strips!
Are you looking for a great way to use stripes? The Semaphore Stripes quilt is the perfect way to use striped fabric to make a secondary design without complicated piecing, and it’s jelly roll friendly!

Gyleen Fitzgerald,
October 25 Bending Star
Clean and crisp design lines colored to bend. Image is controlled by color placement and precision piecing. Learn the Butterfly and the Crisscross seam techniques. Plus learn how to inlay the star in Gyleen’s signature pieced background.
Gyleen Fitzgerald,
October 26 Modern Free-Wheeling Circles
Modern and bold stitched with speed and ease with an extra curve or two. Is that possible? Learn the raw edge technique to achieve perfect “stress-free” curves without piecing.
