Our monthly guild meetings are at 1 p.m. and NOW AT 6:30 p.m. on the Fourth Tuesday of the month

February
Our speaker is long time quilt shop owner, teacher and quilter Joyce Franklin.  After owning a quilt shop in Creston Iowa for over 30 years Joyce sold it and opened Piece Works in Winterset.  Joyce is well known for her art quilts.

March
Carl Hentsch  from 3 Dog Designs is our speaker this month and he is from eastern Iowa. He will be talking about “Color 101” inspirations for color and design and how to combine these in your next quilt.

April
One of our all time favorites, Liz Porter is coming in from Texas to present “You give as good as you get”. Liz was the co-founder of Fons and Porter magazine, television show and patterns and books.

May
Catherine Redford is a wonderful fiber artist originally from England. She now lives in the Chicago area. Her presentation is titled, “Trip around the world in folk art stitches”, a humorous and interactive lecture with prizes!
