Our fall retreat was a tremendous amount of fun. I heard a ton of laughter coming from both rooms. I think everyone got a lot of projects done — I know I did. Also, many people took advantage of the beautiful weather and went on walks around Lake Ahquabi.
Wesley Woods is building a new recreation center and it should be completed by the end of this year. It would hold all of us quilters in one very large room, and it will have plenty of outlets for many more ironing boards. Our 2013 retreat chairs have us in line to book it when it is finished.
I am already excited for the next year’s retreats. Be sure to mark your calendars for April 11-14 and November 7-10, 2013. I can’t wait!
