The name of the quilt is Petals and Pennies, adapted from a pattern by Lisa Bongean, Primitive Gatherings. Raffle tickets will be distributed at the July & September Meetings and sold at the quilt show. The quilt features wool appliqué on a flannel background and backing, with exquisite embroidery and bead embellishment. It is machine quilted. Pieced and Quilted by members of the Des Moines Area Quilters Guild. Quilt measures approx 70″ x 85″.
